Re: [bascom] Siemens C35i as GSM Modul - uninterrupted functioning
Hi Vilko and others

serial connection inside batery and then i put from outside +4V on the
baterypin (i got it simply with 5 ohm from +5V to Zener diode 4.3V) and put
so manifactured batery to the handy. Result: handy says immideatly after
poweron, the battery is flat and swithes off.

I just did try remote powering an old M35 with using those pins, normaly
connected to internal battery. With supply voltage of about 4V ( nominal
battery voltage is 3.6V ) and additional 10kOhms from center pin to ground,
the were no problems to operate the mobilephone.
Amperemeter of external power supply did show variable values between a few
milliamps and about 150mA in maximum, but i guess, when transmitting with
full power ( depending on fieldstrenght of basestation ) , this could
increase to about 1A.
