To short uC reset pulse might cause such problem... try with 470 nF+100kOhm.
Or, put "Wait 1" command at the very beginning of your program, to give your
LCD enough time to recover after power up.

I am working with a 89C51 and a LCD with a 12Mhz crystal, it doesn't
work but it is not the hardware because when I put a crystal test of 1,8
Mhz it works correctly, I suppose that they are the signals E and RS of
the LCD that go very fast.
