Hi, You may not rename or move a registered dll(an OCS is also a DLL). Otherwise the registry points to the wrong info! When you like to rename it you must use REGSVR32 ... /U (to UNregister) Then move the file, and run REGSV32 to register it at the new location. MFC42.DLL is needed by MHCOMM32.OCX And MHCOMM32.OCX is used by BASCOM-8051 & AVR. A setup.exe is REALLY required for setting up BASCOM. The original products always comes with setup.exe. I have never distributed it without it! You can also install the DEMO and copy the needed files over the DEMO.
